I just bought your book and watched your segment on CBS Saturday morning. I just returned from Paris where my daughter and I spent the Christmas holiday. You are an inspiration!!! 2020 as I was preparing to graduate from Northwestern law school to begin a second career as a lawyer (I hold a PhD in 19th century French art history from the University of Chicago) apart from COVID and starting a divorce, my youngest brother died March 16th from a brain aneurysm and a few months later on Christmas Eve, my mother died. My life changed forever. Today, I head clinical trials recruitment for women at Harvard and have decided to move to France — I have found myself after turmoil and I am so happy!! Your story brought tears to joy to my heart.
Bridgette, I'm so sorry I'm late replying! I'm still getting used to the platform here. I saw your comment come through, but I couldn't find it thereafter! Firstly, you are an inspiration! WOW—in just the short paragraph you shared about your life, I am amazed. BRAVO for this new wonderful decision to move to France. You will thrive!
Merci Tina!!! You are amazing! I'm embarrassed it has taken me so long to respond - can you imagine I couldn't figure out where the comments were posted (I roll my eyes at myself!) Thank you so much for your sweet message!
This is wonderful, Jane! I'm going to check out the podcast later today. My word for 2024 was flourishing. I'm reflecting on my word for 2025- still in progress. Thanks for the prompt. So proud of you.
Love this, congrats on today’s launch and bonne courage 💫 for tomorrow’s (can’t wait). Bravo you! I’m marinating over my word for 2025 (brilliant tradition I’m looking forward incorporating into reflecting on the year ending and the one beginning). Merci, thank you! 🩷
My fil rouge is hope. Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Inauguration Day, and having started January with the deadly LA fires(I live in San Francisco) I’m exercising my fil rouge.

Thank you my Lucy!!! I’m already thinking about January. Each two weeks is like a life time!
Stepping out of my comfort zone. Writing and journaling have never been my strong area. But I'm willing to try and see where it leads.
Fabulous Danyel! Tiny experiments for what works is best! The important thing is that you are exploring - something we all need to do! BRAVO!
Go, Jane! I like your simple year end lists. Sometimes writing things down make them seem more real. Look forward to it!
It really does - there is nothing better than a pen to paper. It makes a vision start to transition in to a full-on idea!
